Abrasive Cutting Systems


Alliance Automation has the capability to design and build Abrasive Robotic Waterjet Cutting Systems specific to your application.  Equipped with an abrasive cutting nozzle, robots use high pressure water mixed with abrasive garnet to cut multiple different materials.  The robots enable the cutting of three dimensional (3D) parts that are not easily cut on a standard XY waterjet table.

Open Concept - Robotic Abrasive Waterjet Cutting System


Enclosed Abrasive Robotic Waterjet Systems are a safe and cost effective way for cutting small 3 dimensional (3D) parts.  Two robots enclosed a sound proof enclosure working simultaneously while the operator is outside loading and unloading finished parts.  The integrated turntable indexes the parts in and out of the cutting area, keeping the operator completely unexposed to any hazards.  While abrasive waterjet cutting can exceed 110db, this enclosure effectively reduces noise levels to lower than 85db.
